If you're seeking a dynamic career with growth potential and competitive earning opportunities, we encourage you to apply!OverviewThe Body Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the body shop department, including staff supervision, production scheduling, safety compliance, and equipment maintenance. This position ensures high-quality repairs and efficient workflow, while promoting a safe and productive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & SupervisionSupervise body shop technicians and assign daily tasks.Interpret job orders and assign duties to team members.Conduct safety meetings and manage local safety program reporting.Motivate and support employees to meet performance and quality standards.Maintain accurate timekeeping for shop employees.Production Oversight & Quality ControlStudy production schedules to estimate labor requirementsEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet production goalsEnsure all products meet specifications and quality standards.Analyze and resolve work problems; assist technicians when needed.Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.Maintain equipment and coordinate necessary service or repairs.Enforce safety standards and housekeeping practices throughout the shop.Process Improvement & CoordinationRecommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.Coordinate activities with other departments to optimize workflow.Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive or RV body shop leadership role.Knowledge of RV repair, carpentry, fiberglass, and electrical systems.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret job specifications and schedules.Proficient with computer software used for scheduling and timekeeping.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing, walking, and using hands and arms.Must be able to frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Ability to lift and move up to 25–50 pounds.Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception with ability to adjust focus.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Holiday Savings Plan.Store discounts for employees.Join Our Growing Team!At Fun Town RV, we value our employees and provide opportunities for career advancement in an exciting, fast-growing industry.
