About the Role:

Quantum Machinery Group is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our social media presence and help grow our brands.

This is a hands-on, highly independent position for someone who knows how to manage social media professionally, create engaging content, write compelling copy, build relationships, and execute marketing campaigns.

You'll work alongside our dedicated photography and videography team to turn high-quality visuals into engaging social media posts, Stories, promotional campaigns, newsletters, and other digital marketing content.

We're not looking for someone who simply posts on social media. We're looking for someone who knows how to build and grow a brand.

The ideal candidate is proactive, extremely detail-oriented, highly productive, and comfortable managing their own responsibilities without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management & Content Creation

• Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Maintain a consistent daily posting schedule, including posts, Stories, Reels, carousels, and other platform-specific content.
• Develop and manage a detailed content calendar, planning campaigns and content in advance.
• Write engaging captions, headlines, descriptions, promotional copy, and other written content.
• Create professional graphics, promotional materials, and digital content using available photography, video footage, and brand assets.
• Collaborate with our photography and videography team to plan content and ensure we have the assets needed for upcoming campaigns.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and quality across all platforms.

Community Management & Engagement

• Monitor and respond to social media comments, direct messages, mentions, and customer inquiries.
• Engage with followers, customers, industry professionals, and potential buyers to strengthen relationships and grow our audience.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and coordinate with our sales team when appropriate.
• Monitor customer feedback and maintain a professional, responsive online presence.

Partnerships & Brand Development

• Identify and develop relationships with influencers, content creators, customers, manufacturers, and industry partners.
• Coordinate collaborations, promotional opportunities, and partnership campaigns.
• Proactively seek opportunities to expand brand awareness and reach new audiences.
• Maintain relationships and follow up on ongoing collaborations.

Email Marketing & Newsletters

• Write, design, schedule, and distribute professional email newsletters and marketing campaigns.
• Develop email content promoting products, special offers, company announcements, trade shows, and events.
• Manage email campaign calendars and coordinate messaging with our broader marketing efforts.
• Monitor email marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversions.

Marketing Strategy & Performance

• Help develop and execute social media and digital marketing strategies across multiple brands.
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and new marketing opportunities.
• Track and analyze engagement, audience growth, website traffic, campaign performance, and other key metrics.
• Use performance data to improve content, optimize posting strategies, and generate measurable results.
• Support product launches, trade shows, promotions, and company marketing initiatives.
• Continuously develop new ideas and test creative approaches to improve our digital presence.

Organization, Productivity & Ownership

• Independently manage daily responsibilities, deadlines, content calendars, and ongoing projects.
• Maintain an organized workflow to ensure consistent content production and timely publishing.
• Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proofread and review all content before publication, including spelling, grammar, product information, formatting, and links.
• Proactively identify tasks, solve problems, and take initiative without waiting for direction.
• Communicate progress, priorities, and results clearly with management.
• Utilize AI and modern marketing tools to improve productivity, creativity, and efficiency.
• Consistently identify ways to improve workflows, content quality, and marketing performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing business social media accounts and creating engaging digital content.
• Excellent written communication skills, including strong grammar, spelling, proofreading, and copywriting abilities.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and their respective audiences.
• Experience developing content calendars, scheduling posts, and maintaining consistent publishing schedules.
• Experience creating social media graphics, promotional content, and other digital marketing materials.
• Experience writing and managing email newsletters or marketing campaigns.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, professional work.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity without constant supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling customer interactions and business partnerships.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Willingness to accept constructive feedback and continuously improve.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent follow-through.

Software & Technology Experience:

Experience with or the ability to quickly learn:

• Social Media Management: Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar scheduling platforms.
• Graphic Design: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
• Email Marketing: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Shopify Email, or similar platforms.
• Project Management: Notion, Asana, Trello, or similar organizational tools.
• AI & Productivity: ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI-assisted marketing and productivity tools.
• Analytics: Meta Insights, Google Analytics, platform-specific analytics, and reporting tools.
• Content Collaboration: Figma, Frame.io, Google Workspace, and related collaboration tools.

Experience with every platform is not required, but candidates should be comfortable learning and adapting to new technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing multiple social media platforms for a business or brand.
• Demonstrated success increasing engagement, audience growth, website traffic, or lead generation.
• Experience coordinating influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, or customer engagement campaigns.
• Experience developing email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
• Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with paid social media advertising.
• Experience in B2B marketing, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or technical industries.
• Experience collaborating with photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals.
